The Finance Transformation Team has been given the Board’s approval to move into the Detailed Design phase – but what does that mean?
Between January and April this year, we developed solutions to the issues that colleagues raised in the initial Current State Assessment phase of the programme. Using input from workshop attendees, we created an outline proposal for each of the finance process areas we looked at, and a summary of our report is now available on the Service Excellence Programme website.
By approving the report, the Board has agreed that our proposals should be developed further, so for the next few months we will be working on a detailed plan to implement these proposals over the next five years. This will include a period of consultation with users to help us refine the proposals, so there are still opportunities to get involved and give us your views.
